for the initial checkpoint singles, i had decided that i wanted to make low-poly artwork/short videos to go with each track, as it would fit nicely with the whole “old video game nostalgia with a fresh coat of paint” aesthetic i was going for. i had very limited knowledge of 3d modelling and animation at the time so i spent the better part of 3 months cobbling together enough basic skills to come up with these renders. i’m very happy with how these turned out and i plan to get back into 3d art at some point!
